What You'll Find on This Site ...

• Lots and lots of information, general and specific, to allow you to plan a satisfying visit.
  
  
• Personal recommendations, which you can accept or leave alone. I include my own hotels and son Ben's restaurant – of course! – but I'll give you the unvarnished skinny about them in case they aren't what you're looking for.
  
  
• Here, too, are my opinions about the island, likes and dislikes, and lots of information that goes beyond just the nuts and bolts of putting together a holiday.

First, I don't charge anyone to be included, so if I mention a service, a hotel, a restaurant or a car hire company, it's because I think (or you think, since I use your feedback) they're worth including.

This is not like some Mallorca "information" sites that only list people who pay them a fee. Yes, you may see a few commercial links, but only to services we think would be useful for you.

Second, I try to include only information you might find useful. If you visit some of the government tourist sites, for example, I defy you to find anything useful about the Balearic Islands, much less Mallorca, (though they can recommend "cheap motels" in Chicken Prairie, Iowa).

Third, this site is new, and will get better as you give us feedback on your experiences of Mallorca. A thousand people staying here, eating out here, giving us your opinions, will increase the value of this site immeasurably. So as you read what I put here, if you have a contribution to make, please take a moment to fill out the feedback forms and help me make this site better for the next people coming along.
